Accomplishments
Dr. Nora Muakkassa is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical treatment of retinal disorders, intravitreal injections and retinal laser procedures. She also practices comprehensive ophthalmology and performs cataract surgery. She is the author of several articles on retinal disorders and has presented her findings at national conferences. After her training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, she stayed on as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology for two years before moving to Colorado.
Personal
Dr. Muakkassa enjoys spending her time hiking in the beautiful Colorado mountains, going to concerts and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys being able to help her patients with their vision and appreciates the relationships she forms with them and their families.
